Scheduler

The scheduler module allows you to reduce the load on a busy system by scheduling report printing, transaction posting and administration tasks for times when there is less network and system traffic.

The scheduled program selections are entered and stored within an entry screen where selections may be printed and/ or maintained whenever required.

Each daily schedule can be designated a start and finish time. Audit facilities are also available to track when a function was executed and any errors encountered.

• Substitution variables are available to allow the one variable to be used throughout many scheduled items and to be updated in one process
• Reports and error outputs can be directed to multiple printers
• All reports are stored on the UNIX server to allow reprinting at a later date
• The ability to store template schedules for infrequent events such as month-end reporting
